This product is made from 100% virgin wood fiber and is shredded to a consistency that will maximize its longevity and provide the best weed suppression and moisture retention possible. The product is colored with a widely accepted, non-toxic, mineral based colorant provided by “Colorbiotics®”, a Becker Underwood Company. Colorbiotics is the only landscape colorant supplier to employ strict ISO 9001 quality checks. The raw materials used to make Colorbiotics® colorants are made from naturally occurring colors found in the earth’s surface. These colorants, as well as the other ingredients in Colorbiotics®’ colorants, are specially formulated to be nontoxic to plants and animals.

 

The process of shredding the wood fiber and applying the colorant is strictly controlled by Eastern Shore Forest Products, Inc. to insure a consistently, high quality product that meets or exceeds customers expectations every time.

 

This product, available in Red, Brown and Black, can be expected to maintain its color for at least one year and dependent on conditions, it may last considerably longer.

Pine Bark Mulch

This product is reddish brown in color and made entirely of the bark from pine trees. This product has a shredded appearance with some wood fiber being obvious and imparting a variegated color of gold and reddish brown. Pine bark is prized by commercial nurseries for its slow decomposition rate when used as a soil amendment.

 

Certified Playground Surfacing

A wood product specifically designed as a play surface around playgrounds, play equipment, walking paths or anywhere that fall protection is required. This is an IPEMA certified, pure wood product that is shredded and screened to a consistency conducive to providing a long lasting safety cushion for fall protection.
